With 3,000 employees in four police inspectorates and a central criminal investigation department, we ensure security and order 24/7 in the northwest of Lower Saxony – from the Teutoburg Forest to the East Frisian Islands.
Due to the 200 kilometer long border to the Netherlands, we are the only Lower Saxon police authority with European competence. Whether in the field of operations or investigations, we have been working closely and in a spirit of trust with the Dutch police for years.
The topic of "climate-friendly mobility" is also high on our agenda. In addition to 39 e-cars and three e-bikes, our fleet also includes 46 pedelecs, three S-pedelecs and Lower Saxony's first hydrogen patrol car.
