About Q Space Labs
Q Space Labs is a deep-tech startup building the next generation of quantum-secure, high-throughput free-space optical communication systems for space infrastructure.
We develop laser-based optical communication links engineered for security at the physical layer — delivering terabit-per-second data rates that legacy RF systems cannot match, with quantum-level protection against interception. Our products serve government, defense, and commercial space operators across the Indo-Pacific and Europe.
Founded out of Bengaluru and Chennai, Q Space Labs operates under India's first deep-tech state policy and is an alumnus of the AWS Space Accelerator 2025. We build at the intersection of quantum photonics, free-space optics, and space systems — from simulation and clean room prototype to field-ready hardware.
We are currently advancing our technology through active prototype development, with a team drawn from leading space and quantum research institutions.
