Recom SID was born on April 1st, 2002, when the Metallic Construction sector and the Metallurgical Repairs Workshop were separated from the Romanian state-owned company Siderugica (presently owned by ArcelorMittal Hunedoara), and is currently an entirely private owned company based in Hunedoara.

We are specialized in the fabrication and erection of welded steelworks, no matter if it's for civil or industrial constructions. Our clients are both from the Romanian and European markets, out of which we could mention Donges Steeltec Germany, Hitachi Power Europe, Crawford Sweden, Richard Kablitz Germany, Kronospan Romania, TMK Resita, Arcelor Mittal and many others.
