Founded in 1989 by Dan Mekler, Redspot began as a side venture to his service station in Waterloo, New South Wales. Starting with just two courtesy cars—a Holden Ute and a Ford Laser—Dan recognized the potential to grow beyond his workshop, and what began as a small service has since transformed into a thriving rental business with a diverse fleet that includes SUVs, hybrids, EVs, utes, vans, and trucks. Redspot’s journey from humble beginnings to nationwide success is a testament to our entrepreneurial spirit.
Today, we are proud to continue our legacy as a family-owned Australian business, supporting communities through initiatives like the Redspot Community Champions program, while offering seamless vehicle solutions that drive positive impact.
