About Robotics Club UoP
The Robotics Club is a group created in 2002 by graduate students from the Robotics Group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics at the University of Patras. The aim was to enable students to learn about and get involved with cutting-edge technologies such as robotics, automation, and programming.
Today, the club has several members and is located in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics. Most members are undergraduate students from the Departments of Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering. The club receives scientific and financial support from the Robotics Group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics.
We design and construct small- and medium-sized robots from scratch, focusing on fields from hardware design to software engineering. By following the development process, our members develop the skills required to excel in their future professional and academic activities.
