About S+Academy
S+Academy is a learning and development platform at Saraiva+Associados, the multinational studio founded in 1996 by the architect Miguel Saraiva. It is a meeting point for the disruptive thinking that fuels the culture of innovation of S+A.
The main purpose of S+Academy is to gather knowledge that boosts talent and skill, by gathering relevant content in architecture, design, urban planning, environmental sustainability, legal and fiscal consulting, real-estate investment and technologies.
A multidisciplinary programming brings together guest specialists and speakers, with outstanding backgrounds, to deliver training courses, master classes, lectures, and conferences. S+Academy initiatives are open to society.
S+Academy fosters the LAB@S+A, with the aim of encouraging research, analysis and critical thinking towards sustainability in architecture and urban planning. On a regular basis, case studies and innovative solutions are presented in a forum for a debate and reflection.
S+Academy also establishes bridges between academic and the practice context, by sharing knowledge and experience with student communities, and providing custom-made learning for the young architects who enroll in the Internship Program at S+A.
