About Association Saint-Martin
Saint-Martin — Standing with the most vulnerable, always.
A non-profit organization recognized as serving the public interest, the Saint-Martin Association has been committed for over 180 years to supporting those most in need. Based in Digne-les-Bains, France, we provide personalized, compassionate, and coordinated care for vulnerable children and elderly individuals experiencing loss of autonomy.
Our strength lies in the diversity of our facilities and services:
• A nursing home (EHPAD) across two sites, offering a safe and warm environment for dependent elderly persons.
• A Children’s Home (MECS), welcoming over 120 minors entrusted by child protection services.
• A home care unit (UNIDOM), essential in post-hospital care and transitional support.
• A daycare center for seniors suffering from neurodegenerative diseases.
• A respite and support platform for caregivers and their loved ones.
Our governance is non-religious, non-political, democratic, and transparent, drawing strength from a long-standing humanist legacy passed down by the Sisters of Charity of Besançon. Our founding values – kindness, generosity, support, and dignity – are embodied daily by our 170 dedicated staff members.
We believe in a more inclusive society, where every person, regardless of age or fragility, is treated with respect and humanity.
🤝 Join us in building a caring, community-based network of solidarity.
