About Sanmat
Sanmat is a social development organization driving inclusive and sustainable development in India since 2007. We work at the grassroots to bridge governance gaps by bringing government to citizens, ensuring effective execution of Government and Non-Government programmes for marginalized communities.
Our work spans rural development, livelihoods, skill development, public health, education, sanitation, youth development, social forestry (MGNREGS), digital literacy, and healthcare access. We collaborate with rural communities, SHGs, PRIs, PIAs, startups, social enterprises, and activists to design, mentor, and implement scalable solutions to challenges like poverty, unemployment, hunger, and environmental sustainability.
With operations across Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Delhi, Sanmat is a GuideStar India & Google-registered charity and a UN Sustainable Development Partner, working with national and international institutions to deliver measurable social impact.
