Save the Children in Sri Lanka

Save the Children has been working in Sri Lanka since 1974. Our work in the country focuses on Education, Child Protection, Child Rights Governance, Health and Nutrition, Livelihoods and Humanitarian response. We work with the Government of Sri Lanka, civil societies and other non-governmental organisations to fulfill and contribute towards recognising and respecting the rights of children. We involve children in all areas of our programme design and implementation to ensure that their voices are heard in decisions that affect both them and their rights. We hold ourselves accountable and responsible in all that we do.
