The Ankylosing Spondylitis Association of Switzerland organizes specific therapies for ankylosing spondylitis throughout Switzerland. It also informs affected persons and their relatives about the disease and raises public awareness. In addition, it offers advice and supports research on ankylosing spondylitis.

The Ankylosing Spondylitis Association of Switzerland was founded in 1978 by persons concerned. It is a politically and denominationally neutral association based in Zurich. Its purpose is to support individual affected persons in coping with the disease and to inform the public about ankylosing spondylitis. The Association is a member of the Swiss Rheumatism League and the ZEWO Foundation, the specialist agency for charitable, fundraising organizations.
