U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) provides U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Army Europe and Africa a dedicated headquarters to synchronize Army activities in Africa and scalable crisis-response options in Africa and Europe.

Headquartered in Vicenza, Italy, SETAF-AF is a family of Soldiers and Department of Army Civilians committed to Army Values and supported by Italian hosts. Comprised of the 173rd Airborne Brigade, the 207th Military Intelligence Brigade, the 414th Contracting Command and the 509th Signal Battalion, SETAF-AF provides a diverse range of capabilities for three combatant commands.
