Swiss Federation of the Deaf

The Swiss Federation of the Deaf is an umbrella organisation in the field of self-help, founded in 1946, which represents the interests of deaf and hearing-impaired people. It consists of around 50 employees, its members and partner organisations. They are also politically active in campaigning for the removal of barriers to access in education, work, health, politics, culture and society, and for the consistent and sustainable implementation of the rights of people with hearing impairments.
