The State Department for Innovation, Science and Technology

The department strategic plans and programmes follow the State Council for Science and Techonology policies published in 2018. The main objective of the department is to strengthen innovative projects in the State of Rio Grande do Sul through the adoption of new technologies and innovation strategies in businesses, the support to partnerships between universities, research labs and industry, and the modernization of traditional sectors of the economy.
