Royal Smals is leading and unique in offering integrated solutions for water-related projects and optimal use of dredged material flows. We invent, develop, implement, manage and maintain land and water works, which we are pursuing a minimal environmental impact.
Royal Smals is active as a raw material producer and contractor of medium and small engineering and dredging projects (ports, rivers, lakes, reservoirs). We have a fleet of more than 20 dredgers for large and small works, for precision 'cutter'- work, environmental dredging, and mass production. Most of the equipment can be transported on road.
Royal Smals is highly specialized in dewatering of silt. Our goal is to optimize the use of the silr in the vicinity of a project, such as embankment, dike, or if possible as a raw material for industrial purposes. Often we use geotextile containers to dewater and treat silt.
Our approximately 70 employees are committed, entrepreneurial professionals with a passion for water, equipment and environment.
