Smed Engineering

Smed Engineering AS is a successor of AS Langland & Schei, which has a tradition of more than 100 years within the industry, and has full ownership of Smed Engineering d.o.o. (BiH). The company provides engineering services and supplies manufactured steel and metal products which are transported from the Balkans to Scandinavia. Smed also offers consulting services for other companies wishing to establish themselves in the Balkans, as well as design services and manufacturing for heavy industries, including the oil industry.

Our services:

- Maritime industry
We offer engineering services and design equipment for the shipbuilding and maritime industries. Our highly competent and well-trained team of engineers provides multi-disciplinary engineering services throughout the design process, from concept to finished product.

- Aquafarming
Apart from the standard equipment used in the fishing industry (cranes, winches, vacuum cleaning systems, transport units and piping systems), Smed Engineering can also provide innovative and unique technical solutions to meet the needs of our clients.

- Green energy
We’re relentlessly focused on making solutions for green technologies and green industries the focal point of society – driving the need for renewable energy at every possible turn. Our engineers have had extensive experience with all aspects of designing innovative equipment for green industries.

- Other types of industry
One of the branches Smed Engineering deals with involves the design of tanks and skids for various HPU units.
We offer design services, production drawings and a calculation of individual components and/or complete assembly, as requested by the customer.
