Social Service Providers Aotearoa

Social Service Providers Aotearoa (SSPA) represents members providing community-based social services throughout the motu, we are the national membership-based peak body for non-government social service providers. We have approximately 200 amazing member organisations, the majority of which work directly alongside children, rangatahi and whānau. Our member organisations are diverse, including national children’s organisations, small rural organisations, Iwi and kaupapa Māori service providers, and Pacific providers. All of our member organisations include essential workers, including social workers, continuing to work providing life-changing and often life-saving services in their communities throughout noho rāhui during the COVID-19 pandemic.

SSPA is currently playing a sector coordination role in relation to the current pay equity claim for community-based social workers.
