SONI is Northern Ireland's Transmission System Operator (TSO). We manage the high-voltage electricity grid to ensure that power can flow safely and securely from where it is generated to where it is needed.

We also have the important task of upgrading the electricity grid to deliver a cleaner energy future for local communities, businesses, and farms across Northern Ireland.
