Association for Personal Data Protection in the Czech Republic

The Association for Personal Data Protection in the Czech Republic (Spolek pro chranu osobních údajů, z.s.) is an association of professionals dealing with the processing and protection of personal data in private business, municipalities and public administration. At the same time, it is alaso a professional organization associating all data protection professionals, including DPAs (Data Protection Officers) in particular, who have been appointed to fulfil their duties under Article 37 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and, where applicable, within the meaning of relevant other legal regulations. However, other persons and companies interested in the protection of personal data may also be members of the association.
