Stern Gruppe

Stern Holding is the holding company of all operational organisations of the company with a long tradition in Gmunden. It was founded in 1883 by Ing. Josef Stern and Franz Hafferl, driven by top-level engineering and pioneering spirit.
Today is Stern Holding a diversified concern with core competences in building industry, electrical &building services engineering as well as public transport and shipping.
The Stern Holding is an important economic factor for generations, not only in the Salzkammergut but also in Upper Austria. About 850 employees generate a turnover of about € 90m per year.
