Founded in 1998, Stewart Technology Ltd is a trusted UK-based provider of Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) and Contract Electronic Manufacturing (CEM) with nearly three decades of experience supporting customers from prototype through volume production. We combine technical expertise with a strong commitment to quality, competitive pricing and responsive service - all delivered from our purpose-built factory in the Scottish Borders.
As a privately owned business, we focus on keeping your manufacturing in the UK, offering cost-effective solutions without the uncertainty of off-shoring. Our teams brings deep hands-on experience to every project and works collaboratively with customers to understand their requirements and deliver products built to specification, on time and at the right cost.
We provide a range of services including PCB assembly (SMT & through-hole), sophisticated inspection capabilities (AOI and X-ray), system assembly / box build and comprehensive testing at both the PCB and final assembly levels. Our supply chain support and material sourcing capabilities help protect product integrity while maintaining competitive lead times.
Quality is built into everything we do. We build to IPC-A-610J Class 2 as standard and Class 3 where required, with full traceability on request. We are also ISO 13485 certified for medical device manufacturing, reflecting our ability to meet demanding regulatory and quality requirements.
