Aktion Sonnenschein

Stiftung Aktion Sonnenschein is an NGO that has been setting standards in inclusive education far beyond the borders of Munich for more than 50 years. Its innovative educational concept based on the teachings of Maria Montessori provides the foundation that allows students with and without disabilities to learn and grow side by side, to the benefit of all. Today, more than half of our student body consists of children with disabilities, a share that is far higher than at any other school in Germany. A success story that is so unusual that we have people from all over the world visiting to learn from us. It was made possible due to the vision and persistence of our founder Professor Dr. Theodor Hellbrügge as well as the continued enormous personal and financial support from our faithful donators.
