We are developing the world’s largest, most cost-effective grid-scale electricity storage system, a key technology to enable renewable energy to power the world’s electricity grids.

A novel form of Compressed Air Energy Storage, each installation will replace a fossil fuel power station, producing 500MW, storing at least 45GWh of electricity. The capital cost is lower than a gas-fired power station and operating much more efficiently, as its main source of power will be wind, solar, wave and tidal power.

Storelectric's pioneering technology therefore addresses the entire “energy trilemma” of reducing costs, increasing energy security and promoting renewable generation.
