About Stove Industry Association
The Stove Industry Association (SIA) is the trade association for the UK stove sector. Our members include appliance, flue and chimney system, component, glass and fuel manufacturers, suppliers, retailers and installers, and chimney sweeps. We also have members representing competent person schemes, training companies, independent test houses and other relevant industry bodies.
Our work is focused on promoting the benefits of modern, sustainable solid fuel stoves and representing the industry to policy makers.
With over 170 members the SIA is able to represent the entire stove industry supply chain in its dialogue with key national government departments such as Defra and DESNZ, the Scottish Government, Welsh Government and the Greater London Authority, as well local authorities.
The Association aims to provide consumer information on stove use best practice and provides a range of resources and research to further our understanding of modern, sustainable solid fuel stoves and the role they play in providing low carbon, low emission and renewable heat.
