Sua Sponte Foundation

The Sua Sponte Foundation is an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit organization comprised of a small group of veteran 1/75 Rangers and patriotic civilians. The Foundation was created in 2010 to aid 1st Ranger Battalion members and their families; the unit is located at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Georgia. It is one of three battalions that comprise the U.S. Army’s most elite infantry unit, the 75th Ranger Regiment. The Foundation’s name, Sua Sponte is Latin for “of their own accord” – it is the official motto of the 75th Ranger Regiment.
