Sustainable Power Solutions (SPS) is a leading asset management company specializing in the funding, development, and operation of solar PV and battery storage plants.
Since 2008, we have been revolutionising energy across the continent by providing affordable, clean energy solutions to businesses in Sub-Saharan Africa.
SPS is a portfolio company of Gridworks, part of British International Investment (BII), the United Kingdom’s development finance institution, and NewGX, owned by South African entrepreneur Khudusela Pitje.
With the funding provided by our shareholders, we are able to offer finance solutions to businesses and partner with developers and EPC partners across the region.
Our team is proactively driving renewable energy initiatives within the C&I sector, with over 150 MWp of solar and 40 MWh of battery storage projects installed.
