About Swiss 3RCC
The Swiss 3R Competence Centre (3RCC) promotes the 3Rs Principle (Replacement, Reduction and Refinement of animal experimentation) in Switzerland and facilitates its implementation in life sciences, focusing on research, education and communication.
The 3RCC:
Promotes high-quality research and care for animals by subsidising scientific projects of excellence and quality on the 3Rs principle.
Develops a 3Rs education strategy targeted at different educational programmes.
Builds a network and communication platform, providing up-to-date information on the 3Rs principle and alternative methods to animal experimentation to stakeholders and all those interested.
