About ASD Terminio
ASD Polisportiva Terminio is a grassroots football club from Volturara Irpina, Campania (Italy) now proudly stewarded by the member-owned cooperative Football Club Group (FCG). Join us, become a dragon.
Born during the pandemic, Terminio was founded by lifelong friends and footballers to bring hope and joy back to their town. In just a few short years, the club has become a symbol of resilience, community pride, and ambition. Backed by passionate Ultras, a thriving youth academy, and the legend of the three-headed dragon of Monte Terminio, the club stands as a reminder that football is more than a game — it is belonging, identity, and future.
In 2025, FCG members from around the world voted to acquire ASD Terminio, making it the first cooperative-owned club in Italy under the stewardship of Football Club Group. Today, Terminio competes in Italy’s Seconda Categoria (8th tier) with the clear ambition of winning promotion this season and beginning a journey up the Italian football pyramid.
Our Mission
To unite local community and global cooperative ownership to build a club that thrives both on and off the pitch. Terminio exists to:
Compete for promotion and long-term excellence in Italian football.
Create opportunities for local youth through our academy.
Launch a women’s squad to ensure equal growth of the game.
Inspire emigrants and fans worldwide to reconnect with Volturara through football.
Live out our values of democracy, inclusivity, integrity, and community-first leadership.
Looking Ahead
Our long-term vision is bold: to rise from grassroots into Italy’s professional leagues, one promotion at a time, and one day compete among the very best. Along the way, we will celebrate our roots, uplift our community, and welcome members from all over the world to share in this story.
