About Appletons
Founded by David Appleton and Philip Deeley in 1984, Appletons is a firm of landscape architects, ecologists, arboriculturalists and environmental consultants with offices in Bolton (Greater Manchester), Ludlow (Shropshire) and Merseyside.
The practice offers expertise at all stages of a project from conception through the research, feasibility and planning and masterplanning stages, to design, construction by contract, aftercare and long-term management.
We can offer a wide range of professional services including Landscape Design and Specification, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessments, Photographic Montages, Masterplanning, Tree Surveys, Arboricultural Impact Assessments, Method Statements and Ecology Surveys including Phase 1 Habitat Surveys, PEAs, Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and Protected Species surveys covering Bats, Newts, Badgers and Birds.
