About Arboricultural Association

The Arboricultural Association is the largest body in the UK for tree care professionals and is a registered charity.

Inspiring, supporting and promoting the tree care community for a society that better appreciates and cares for trees.

There are over 3000 Arboricultural Association members.

We provide the standards, training, support and recognition that put our members – in the UK and overseas – at the peak of their profession.

Our Key Values are:

- Inspiring society to understand the value of amenity trees

- Influencing decision makers to value, secure, fund and promote amenity trees

- Improving an understanding of trees and their environment

A range of membership grades exists linked to National Qualifications Framework levels. Members can progress through the membership grade structure as their career progresses in either civic or commercial employment at craft, technical, supervisory, managerial or consultancy level.
