Australian Music Therapy Association

The Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA) is the government-recognised peak body for the music therapy profession in Australia.

We manage the registration and regulation of registered music therapists (RMTs).

We also promote and advocate for the music therapy profession and work to increase consumer access to music therapy services.

And we support registered music therapists.

AMTA is a member of National Alliance of Self Regulating Health Professions (NASRHP).
