About The Bonafide Advocator Initiative
The Bonafide Advocator Initiative is a not-for-profit organization established in 2020 to promote social justice, renders pro-bono services to inmates at the correctional center and mentoring to children in correctional homes.
BOFAI has achieved the following:
1. Free legal advice to indigent and low income earners on fundamental rights issues, employment matters and tenancy matters during the COVID-19 outbreak and lockdown in Nigeria.
2. Visited the Oregun Correctional Center for Boys, Lagos State, Nigeria in December 2020, with the aim of mentoring the boys and also providing relief materials.
3. Visited the Juvenile Home in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria in March to also mentor the children and provide relief materials.
4. Currently undertaking to construct a four block of bathroom and toilet for the boys at the Correctional Center For Boys, Oregun in a project themed "Lets Make Our Boys Better" and sourcing for the sum of One Million Two Hundred Thousand Naira.
