About Mater Hospital Foundation
The Mater Hospital Foundation was established in 1985 as the official fundraising body of The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and is now the largest adult hospital Foundation in Ireland.
It exists to inspire and enable financial support from the community for exceptional patient care at The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.
Funds raised through the Mater Foundation are used to purchase state-of-the-art equipment, enhance facilities and develop special programmes to help the hospital remain at the forefront of first class medical care while at the same time investing in medical research to help determine the future of medicine tomorrow.
We achieve our goals by working with the community and the hospital to enable change and enhance patient care by providing grants and funding to Wards, Departments and Services.
