The Pomelo

The Pomelo is a digital platform dedicated to documenting, archiving, and sharing stories from the Himalayan region. Its team members are based in both Nepal and India. In 2023, The Pomelo was awarded the Gender Bender Grant, supported by Sandbox Collective and Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Bangalore. One of the ongoing projects is to establish a digital oral archive, "In Her Footsteps", to document women's migration in the region.
