The Practice Space

Founded in 2017, The Practice Space is a women of color-led nonprofit based in the Bay Area, serving the communities in and around Oakland, Richmond, Vallejo, El Cerrito and beyond. Our mission is to build confidence and community through communication skill development. We believe in the importance of using your voice, and work diligently to create safe spaces that foster connection and belonging for all ages. The Practice Space offers numerous programs, partnerships, and events throughout the year– all with the goal of encouraging authenticity, uplifting creativity, and valuing voice.
