About Caravan of Life Pakistan Trust
Caravan of Life Pakistan Trust (CoLPT) is a nonprofit mental health organization committed to healing, rehabilitation, and community empowerment across Pakistan. Established in 2009, our mission is to make quality mental health care accessible, reduce stigma, and promote long-term recovery for individuals living with severe mental illnesses.
Grounded in evidence-based practices adapted from the United States, CoLPT focuses on functional recovery helping individuals reclaim independence, meaning, and purpose in their daily lives.
Our work spans structured rehabilitation, psychoeducation, community engagement, and family support to build a stronger, more compassionate mental health ecosystem.
Our Programs
1) The Recovery House (TRH)
A structured psycho-social rehabilitation program designed for individuals recovering from severe mental illness. TRH provides daily routines, therapy, life-skills development, clinical support, and a safe environment that enables members to reintegrate into society with confidence and independence. The program emphasizes dignity, empowerment, and sustainable progress. At TRH, we focus on developing living, learning, working, and socialising skills to support long-term recover
2) Bawaqar Zindagi (BWZ)
A community outreach initiative dedicated to early identification, awareness, and mental health support within underserved communities, especially in Shah Faisal Colony, Karachi. BWZ provides free mental health services, educational workshops, screening programs, and family counselling. The initiative ensures that individuals facing socio-economic barriers can access care without stigma or hesitation.
Together, TRH and BWZ form a unified continuum of care—bringing professional mental health services into both structured rehabilitation settings and community spaces. Through collaboration, compassion, and evidence-based work, CoLPT remains committed to improving mental well-being and fostering hope for all.
