About The Stables MK
The Stables is one of the UK's leading live music organisations founded by Sir John Dankworth and Dame Cleo Laine, offering excellent live music for all tastes - jazz, blues, folk, rock, classical, pop and world music.
Our wonderful purpose-built auditorium seats 398 people and is the perfect place not only for concerts, but is also available for conferences. 2007 saw the opening of Stage 2 at The Stables - a new intimate cafe-bar and performance space.
Our vision is to engage the widest range of people with music in all its diversity. In 2010 we founded IF: Milton Keynes International Festival, producing unexpected events in unusual spaces and places. IF runs every two years in the Summer in central Milton Keynes.
