About the gunnercooke foundation

the gunnercooke foundation was born from the passionate belief that businesses hold the tools needed to solve the world’s problems. By unlocking this, we could help charities to grow faster and have a deeper impact on their communities and causes.

the gunnercooke foundation runs a number of projects.
inspire* - our longest running project, working with business leaders from across industry and pairing them with third sector organisations of varying sizes and stages of growth. Leaders helping leaders. Simple! We now have over 120 not for profit members and 11 hubs running nationally with more being added all the time.

Business For Good - Our BFG programme works with not for profits to develop a sustainable business revenue stream, ensuring they are less reliant on grants and fundraising.

House of Books & Friends - our Community Interest Company which was started in 2022, a not for profit bookshop, event space and cafe. Our mission is to combat loneliness and social isolation and all of our profits are reinvested in to creating communities and building relationships.

gcScholars - together with gunnercooke, we aim to create a work experience programme like no other.

Our gcScholars programme ensures that for every young person who gets the opportunity to undertake work experience at gunnercooke because of who they know, we give an equal opportunity to another who is trying to build their network.
