The Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGI) is a flagship program of the Federal Government of Nigeria launched in 2023 to fast-track the country’s shift to cleaner, more affordable, and more sustainable transportation energy sources.

Rooted in the Renewed Hope Agenda, PCNGI promotes the adoption of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and electric vehicles (EVs) particularly in mass transit systems delivering cost savings, job creation, energy security, and environmental benefits.
