Our Foundational Philosophy
For millennia, philosophers and scientists have sought the purpose of human life. We anchor our purpose in a timeless truth: The Earth (Prithvi) is our Mother.
While our parents give us birth, the Earth provides everything that sustains us—food, water, air, and social harmony. This makes all life on Earth her progeny, bound by a shared, brotherly relationship.
THE PRITHVI FOUNDATION was established to translate this wisdom into action. We are committed to nurturing thoughts and deeds that support the welfare of all beings—living and non-living—and to champion the principles of Equality, Brotherhood, and Justice. We believe that poverty or unhappiness anywhere is a threat to prosperity and happiness everywhere.
Poverty, unhappiness anywhere is a threat to prosperity, happiness everywhere. The Indian philosophy and the ancient Indian scriptures have advocated the achievement of the welfare of all through pursue of righteous path and finally achieving the ultimate heavenly bliss along with the wellbeing of the whole universe. The Vedas say, "Oh sacred fire! Please guide us to prosperity by righteous path." The Prithvi Foundation aims at spreading this message of our great forefathers in the world and to work for the maintenance of the balance in interdependence and co-existence of all the beings on the earth and to work for protecting the biodiversity on this planet. Our Earth is our home and our only home. We shall have our home right and safe if and only if the earth is protected and safe.
The motto of The Prithvi Foundation is "Let us work for the betterment of the whole world.” Betterment cannot be brought about in bits and pieces. The approach has to be holistic for the survival of the humanity as a whole and for the survival of our endangered planet we have to work in harmony.
We work for preventive healthcare solutions, clean/ green energy, training and innovation.
