About The Spring Charity
At our Annexe Community Centre we host Stay and Play sessions for families with preschool children on Tuesdays and Thursdays (term time only). From these sessions, we identify additional support needs and allocate a member of staff to support the family or signpost services they can access, e.g referrals to other charities, sourcing baby equipment, clothing school uniforms, shoes etc. We commission other organisations to offer sessions and events for our families, such as commissioned artists-in-residence workshops, well-being workshops and lots of other amazing projects. We are currently working on a range of different projects to address the impact of the financial crisis and issues raised by families and local residents, which include a greening & gardening project, cookery groups, a Warm Space for residents and supporting families new to the UK and Northampton.
We have a first-floor Community Room, with kitchen and toilet facilities, available for hire. This area is suitable for conferences or meetings.
We have a first-floor office space available to rent for ad hoc or ongoing bookings.
Current Opening Hours:
Monday - Friday 8.30 am to 12.30 pm Term time only
Community: Parent and toddler Stay and Play sessions
Online Henry Programme (sessions need to be booked)
Online Solihull Approach Parenting Programme (sessions need to be booked)
We are always happy to consider working in partnership with other organisations and companies that would like to have a positive impact on the lives of local children and their extended families. If you are interested in working with us, discussing how your company or organisation can help or making a donation, please message Tracey Hamilton, Charity Manager at: [email protected]
