About TheSys GmbH
Our mission is Thermo-Engineering
TheSys is an engineering company that specializes in providing thermal solutions for road and off-road vehicles. Our core competencies cover the design and optimization of cooling systems, heat exchangers and operation controls.
To be able to provide thermal solutions we employ a wide range of simulation tools, ranking from 0D-optimization to 1D-circuit simulation (including heat exchangers, pumps, fans, condensers, etc.) to CAD-design and 3D-CFD optimizations. Based on our Co-simulation methods we simulate all heat and energy flows within modern vehicles and enhance efficiency and driving range. An intelligent and predictive control will be key for future optimizations.
We expand our services to other sectors such as train and marine applications as well as electronic equipment cooling or industrial waste heat recovery.
Coming from our automobile background we have an excellent understanding of cooling fluids.
We explored the capabilities of 3D-printed heat exchangers and the consequences of introducing them into existing systems. As experts of thermodynamic perfomance predicition, we develop AM heat exchangers and are able to introduce them into our existing cooling circuit models.
