Overview
About Tilley and Patton
Tilley and Patton is a leading force in precision sheet metal manufacturing, combining over a century of craftsmanship with forward-thinking engineering. Formerly known as the Tilley Group, our legacy dates back to 1921, with a proud history of delivering high-quality, durable, and visually striking metal solutions for New Zealand and beyond.
Our story now continues alongside Patton Engineering—another long-standing, family-founded New Zealand business known for its excellence in steel fabrication and its commitment to people, partnerships, and quality. While we operate independently, both businesses share a strong heritage of craftsmanship, values-driven leadership, and deep roots in the local manufacturing industry.
Today, under our new name following the 2025 acquisition by the Patton Group, we bring together proven manufacturing heritage with fresh capability, innovation, and scale. Our rebrand to Tilley and Patton represents more than a name change—it’s a signal of evolution and renewed purpose. We remain proudly rooted in the values that built our reputation: reliability, integrity, and quality—but with added energy, resources, and ambition.
At the helm of this new era is Managing Director Daniel Lincoln, whose leadership brings clarity, focus, and drive to the organisation. With a strong background in manufacturing operations, strategic development, and team leadership, Daniel is committed to building on the strengths of the past while steering the company toward new opportunities. He brings a hands-on approach, deep industry insight, and a strong belief in people, partnerships, and continuous improvement. Under his guidance, Tilley and Patton is embracing innovation, strengthening customer relationships, and sharpening its competitive edge in the New Zealand manufacturing landscape.
With operations based in Wellington, and additional offices in Auckland and Christchurch, Tilley and Patton services clients across Australasia
