Trails and Open Space Coalition

We are dedicated to the preservation of open space and trails, and the creation of a network of trails, bikeways and greenways for the Pikes Peak Region. Our latest project is the completion of the Ring the Peak Trail, a 60+ mile adventure path around Pikes Peak. We're working on closing the last 8-12 mile gap on the southwest side of the Ring. When completed, the Ring the Peak Trail will be a world-class recreation destination for bikers, hikers and runners. The Trails and Open Space Coalition is an advocacy nonprofit located in Southern Colorado. Our public natural spaces are economic drivers for our region, contributing to our quality of life and our prosperity. We speak for our parks, trails and open spaces, to make sure they are protected and maintained as they deserve.
