Training Center Poliex

The Poliex Training Center started operating in 2015 as a licensed adult education organizer. The Center received a work permit and license by the Decision of the Ministry of Education UPI number: 620-113 / 2015 from July 30, 2015. Poliex has excellent cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Interior - Directorate for Emergency Situations. For the needs of the Ministry of Defense, training is being conducted for the destruction of surplus munitions by the delaboration procedure. Members of the Directorate for Emergency Situations have conducted some training at the Training Center and are using the UXO destruction site. The Training Center also conducts training under contract with MAT Kosovo - Praedium Consulting Malta, which is one of the world's leading training institutions for EOD and IEDD in accordance with IMAS standards. In the Training centre, IMAS EOD level 3 and 3+ students are able to conduct ‘live’ demolition training on a wide range of UXO targets from grenades to 250 Kg bombs. Poliex is available all year round, not only for training but also for the conduct of research and development (R&D) and Trials and Evaluation (T&E) of demolitions equipment and disposal techniques. We are confident that no one in the HMA industry currently offers this capability backed by HMA experts who can provide guidance, the advice in support of any R&D and T&E while also providing range support to ensure a client achieves their objective. In addition, MAT Kosovo can offer additional support in the manufacture and supply of resources and energetic targets in support of R&D and T&E projects. Moreover, Poliex is used for the delivery of our Physical Security and Stockpile Management (PSSM) courses where the Ammunition Storage Areas (ASA) within the facility are utilized for the enhancement of realistic training.
