Transnet Port Terminals

Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) is a division of Transnet SOC Ltd and South Africa’s (SA) leading terminal operator responsible for loading and offloading cargo aboard vessels calling the seven commercial ports. TPT provides import and export services for both domestic and global markets through 9000 employees across 16-sea cargo and three inland terminals under the leadership of Jabu Mdaki as Chief Executive. Cargo sectors are across containers, mineral bulk, agricultural bulk, breakbulk and automotive with shipping lines, freight forwarders and cargo owners as the company’s main customers.

TPT is currently pursuing the Reinvent for Growth (R4G) Strategy that is aimed at improving operations and logistics through investments in infrastructure and equipment. Critical enablers and initiatives across people, equipment, stakeholders, technology and financial resources are anchors supporting the strategy.
