The founder of the Triveni group--Shri Gopal Rai Sanghai, a self-made entrepreneur in the 1930s, imported textiles from South Asian countries for trade in Nepal. Triveni Group, since then has accelerated businesses into a range of investments in areas such as manufacturing, trading and distribution, banking and insurance, energy, retail, education, entertainment, and hospitality.
