Tumaini Open School

Girls in Tanzania often withdraw from school when they are pregnant, regardless of consent. Government schools are unwelcoming and private schools are unaffordable.
We are developing an inclusive and stigma-free learning center to help these girls regain their educational goals and eventually access higher education and technical training. Such Alternative Education Pathways (AEPs) are a proven model of enabling teenage mothers to continue an education.
