Texas State University Center for Analytics and Data Science (TXST CADS)

Texas State Center for Analytics and Data Science (TXST CADS) is Texas State University’s interdisciplinary hub of data-intensive research, analytics and data science education, training, and outreach programs. It supports exploring solutions for the greatest challenges of society, science, and business through computing as well as data science and provides the tools to harness the power of data. The applications of statistics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence are prevalent in every domain ranging from criminal justice to disaster response. CADS facilitates collaboration across the data science community of domain experts from the health, life, social, and physical sciences, as well as supporting methodological experts from computer science, statistics, engineering, and applied mathematics. CADS has three focus areas: research, education and training, and community outreach.
