About UAB Department of Occupational Therapy

Degrees include the Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management to Occupational Therapy Doctorate Fast Track, the Entry-Level Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD)—the only program in Alabama fully accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association—and the Post-Professional Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
We also offer a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences, a joint program with the Department of Physical Therapy, and specialized post-professional programs such as the Low Vision Rehabilitation Graduate Certificate and the Multitiered Approach to Trauma Graduate Certificate.
