The Thomas College of Business & Economics is accredited by the Association for Advancement of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). AACSB accreditation differentiates business and accounting programs from those at other institutions in terms of quality, rigor, and relevance. Only five percent of business schools worldwide are accredited by AACSB international, a sign of distinction enjoyed by our stakeholders.

The Thomas College of Business & Economics at UNC Pembroke provides an education that meets student needs and ensures they are well prepared for what lies ahead. The TCBE values internationalization to prepare students for a competitive global environment, diversity to enrich personal growth and enhance the learning experience, ethical decision making to prepare students to serve as business leaders, and scholarship to benefit our students' education. Our faculty provides students with the competencies and experiences they need to thrive in the business world. We currently have 35 full-time faculty members with diverse educational and professional backgrounds. Small classes at the TCBE promote interactive learning where faculty and students are partners in the educational process.
